Celebrating 40 Glorious Years
The 2024 Rally will be held at Nuriootpa, in the Barossa Valley, South Australia on 15th, 16th and 17th March, 2024.
The Rally Hub is the Big4 Barossa Tourist Park, Penrice Road, Nuriootpa, 5355.

We suggest that you phone for booking as we booked the whole park.
They have 17 cabins that sleep 4, 7 cabins that sleep 2, 7 cabins that sleep 5, 8 cabins that sleep 6 and 1 cabin that sleeps 7. Make sure that you quote the VJMC Rally and there will be a discount.
WE HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED IN OCTOBER THAT THE RALLY HUB IS NOW BOOKED OUT.

THE RALLY
Friday 15th March 2024
The Rally will begin with Registration at the Hub, on Friday 15th, starting at 2.00pm and ending at 6.00pm. There will be a BBQ dinner, supplied by the Lions Club, starting at 7.00pm.
Saturday 16th March 2024
Saturday morning, a breakfast supplied by the Lions Club will start at 8.00am, followed by a ride around the district, stopping at the Barossa Preservation Society in Angaston.
Morning tea is included in entry.
The riders then return to the Coulthard Park (adjacent to the Hub) for the Show and Shine.
There will be a chicken and salad lunch supplied by the Lions Club.
The Saturday evening dinner is at the Vine Inn, Nuriootpa, starting at 7.00pm. The distance between the Hub and the Vine Inn is about 700 metres, via a riverside route, or along the main street. We hope that entrants will be able to make the trip, on foot, but will make other arrangements if there are enough who cannot, and do not have alternative transport.
The dinner is strictly limited to 270 patrons and the awards will be presented during the evening.
Sunday 17th March 2024
The Sunday morning breakfast will be starting at 7.30am to allow extra time for the AGM.
The AGM will take place at the Football Clubrooms, about 100 metres from the eating area.
The ride will leave at around 10.00 to 10.30am. It will be a direct route through the hills to Birdwood, to arrive about 11.15am.
There will be free entry to the National Motor Museum, through a side gate, and there is parking inside for the motorcycles only. Those in cars can park in the spacious carpark. A lunch will be provided by the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, in our area within the Museum grounds.
The day will be a free day for visitors to wander the Museum, a task that will take several hours, if done completely. When leaving the Museum, you can start your return home, or return to Nuriootpa for a Stragglers Dinner, again at the Vine Inn, but with a-la-carte menu and payment on the night.
Costings
We hope to be able to hold the Rally Entry to $50.00 for a member, and $70.00 for a non-member. Meal prices have been finalised, and are very close to those at Bendigo, In order to keep the Saturday evening meal at a reasonable cost, it will be a two-plate drop with a main course and dessert.
The cost, at Bendigo, for a single member going to all the meals, was $176.00.
We will be providing 2 extra meals, and expect the total, for a single member, to be around $220.00 if attending everything.
We hope to have the entry form ready for the Magazine 160, around August/ September, but that shouldn’t stop anyone making accommodation arrangements now. Remember, in South Australia we have Mad March, with the Fringe and the Adelaide Festival anlong with the new Gather Round in early April.
On the same weekend as our rally, there is an event in the Adelaide City called ‘The Adelaide Motorsport Festival’.
It will showcase expensive, fast, and rare cars, including older F1 cars. There will also be special motorcycles. This is followed by the Adelaide Festival of Arts.
